“We booked for two nights and when we arrived at 830pm, we were told it wasn't ready. They placed us in a different room instead and told us we had to move to the new room the next morning. When we got into our first room, it was still dirty with garbage on the floor and sticky tables. There was sand in the beds and a musty smell so strong we went and picked up cleaning supplies and cleaned the room ourselves. I was willing to let it go, but when we had to pack up our stuff in the morning...

“Couldn't ask for more. We've stayed at about a dozen different cottages in northern Ontario and Lakeside Cottages in Bruce Mines is the best. The beds are comfy, the price is reasonable, the cottage comes fully stocked (no upcharge for bedsheets like some places!!!), the kitchen is full and also stocked (salt and pepper and oil and coffee!!!), the cottages are clean and pretty, the view is amazing, the firewood is onsite and included (not $20 for a tiny bundle like some places...), reasonable...
