Clean hotel, excellent location

Clean hotel rooms, excellent, reasonably priced hotel for staying near the North Shore, especially after a day at Polynesian Cultural Center. Easy 5 min walk after a long day back to the hotel.

I liked the pool! The beach access across the street was great. The daily housekeeping was wonderful. The bistro line in the morning was very long. And the elevator didn’t work for a couple days during our stay ( we were on the third floor!) but those were minor. I would stay here again!

Rooms very large, clean, and well appointed. Bathroom wash large with a good shower and well designed for reaching all your personal items. The beds were super comfortable! Maid service was good and they left chocolates on the bed. Yum! Only complaint was we were next to a very noisy group and could hear their conversations, laughing, wrestling, until 2 or 3 in the morning…we think it was a group of teen boys whose parents were in a different room. They slammed doors, ran through the hallways chasing each other while yelling and swearing. McDonald’s was walking distance and good restaurants close by at the Polynesian Cultural Center, also walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

We liked the location, it’s located close to the Polynesian Center. Shops and restaurants are 5 mins walk. However, the room wasn’t that clean, it was dusty. The air conditioner was so loud we couldn’t sleep, and there was no vent in the window. When you make a sofa as a bed (because you booked a room for 2 adults and a kid) there is no space to walk. No place to dry your wet swimming suits, considering the fact that you are in Hawaii and swimming is kind of the main purpose everyone is coming there (and there is a swimming pool in the hotel too). Breakfast is very expensive but the quality is poor.

The room was decent and clean. It was very convenient to the Polynesian Center. Staff were great. Food at their "restaurant" was not good. The burger was some sort of pressed meat. Not real beef. Oh, and they charge for parking. Also, note, there are no alcoholic drinks served at this Marriott. Dry district.
