I truly hidden gem in Laguna Beach, Wonderful units within steps of the sand. Amazing views and just a perfect hotel.

The stay was along with the view was nice. There are no staff available in person or on the phone. We lost about 2 hours of the short stay (the last hour of sun!). We were not able to retrieve our key for about the first 90 minutes. Management claims they sent an email and text, if they did, I did not receive either!! It was frustrating. I honestly thought we had been scammed. The deck has a beautiful view but looks nothing like the pics. The room was cute however, floor was filthy and our door did not lock from the inside.

The location is awesome. The unit was cleaned but the floors needed a good sweep/mop. The parking is tight, but if others park right it’s not an issue. We will definitely come back. Only wish they allowed pets since ours are like our babies…but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

Still wondering where the pool was, other than the wonderful view (only because we paid for their best room probably) Never received check in details, had to find a phone number to call to check in cause the office was closed. Beach access if it was the one we were supposed to use was closed for construction. No direction as to where anything was. The folder inside our unit said conflicting times for check out. Also said one parking spot per unit however then we get charged for parking? Says there Are beach towels and chairs available yet no one there to help.

I feel the ocean view on our villa #1 Rustico was a bit deceiving. You can catch a glimpse of the horizon from the kitchen window or living room window but I wouldn't call it an ocean view. Some walls were pretty dirty, with makeup and handprints in certain areas, could use a touch of paint. The shower head and water pressure was not good. The coffee maker and wifi didn't work right, and the window shades need to be changed, I opened one and there was a dead crane fly in it along with questionable stains. Sofa bed is not good, don't even think about sleeping on it. I understand ocean=rust and corrosion but for the price, the upkeep needs to be stellar. For the good things, location is incredible- 10/10. Mattress and pillows were comfy. The floor was clean. The shared patio is steps away and has the best view. There is great potential in villa #1 but for now the other units seem to be better.

Amazing View

The view was from the room was absolutely amazing and you are walking distance to all the cool restaurants and shops. That made it all worth it. We had a great time. That said, the air conditioning and wi-fi don't work, they know they don't work, and they don't seem to care that they don't work. Luckily, neither really affected the trip for us too much, but you should be aware. But with the poor cell coverage, best this be an unplugged trip.

Beautiful place to be

The place was clean and nice. The view was amazing and walk down to the beach was minutes away. The only thing was the service. They don’t pick up the phone in the morning. So we walked to the front desk which was located across the street to asked for a shampoo and they said we’ll bring it to your room. But they never came. So my husband went to the front desk again to get it.

I will call customer service, but the fireplace at the unit in Laguna Beach was falling apart. The brick was coming out. There was pieces of the wall on the floor as we entered the unit very unsafe we did stay because we had no other choice, but we’d like at least a partial refund or a credit for another rental.

The staff was a major concern. We seemed to be an inconvenience when we accidentally forgot a device after checking out and had to go back and ask someone to open the room for a second. Then, due to their poor communication, the manager calls me accusing me of staying longer after I had extended one more night/day. It was their absolute lack of communication. But, also, poor communication when relating this back to me, even though I did everything right when I added an additional night. Poor customer service

Nice view room was big, but the management is not on site, the remote didn't work because the batteries were leaking acid and wouldn't come to replace them. I went to take a shower the water turned on my fiance walked in telling me that the floor was wet so I turned the water off but it wouldn't turn off called management and they said the main valve is outside the unit we will fix it in the morning and didn't let us change rooms. Turned an amazing family trip into a frustrating nightmare.
