The remodel is very nice with the exception of the brown rug that served as a trip hazard multiple times. It would be nice if an automatic building door opener could be installed. Best hotel in laguna. Amazing view and sounds of crashing waves. Staff was outstanding. Great little touches like hot cookies at 6pm every night, oversized bath towels, wonderfully scented lotion and soap. Location was ideal. We walked everywhere. While parking is super convenient, it is $70 a night which is a bit steep.
