Everything about this hotel was perfect. Location was perfect, the staff working were unbelievable, the proximity to everything was amazing and the views were unbelievable. The space was extremely clean and the views were breathtaking. I highly recommend this place!!

Just a few steps away from Praia Dona Ana (beautiful beach) and about 15 minute walk to Lagos city center. Parking available in underground garage beneath the hotel or at a public outdoor parking area in front of the of hotel. Hotel provided beach towels and beach umbrella. Mini fridge in hotel room. Can purchase day excursions such as boat rides to the caves at the reception desk. Room facing the public parking lot has great sea view.

I did not like that after 8 pm I had to pick up my keys from a different location that was further away. Walls are thin if you have noisy tourists. I liked the cleanliness of the building and the room and nice staff. Great location close to the beach.

Very good place. Location is good near the sea (beach) and for hiking but not the city-centre (good walking distance or need a car). The units are clean and spacious. The car-parking is not good at all. The spaces are small and the worst part is that it wasn’t a property designed parking but a bunch of spaces in the foundation with the building supporting pillars obstructing the ability to drive and park.

The rooms are spacious and clean, but the location being right next to an old abandoned building is not ideal, especially when you look out your window and that’s all you see. It is a shame seeing that the hotel is less than 5 min walk to the beach. We ended up switching over to their sister hotel which is where we needed to check in away and where you have use of the pools if you are staying at the Villa Doris suites.

Staff and property were 10/10. The property is located steps from the ocean, hiking and old Lagos. Parking in the building is basically unusable - there arent very many spots and the garage itself is poorly designed and extremely difficult to navigate for even Europeans used to tight spaces.

I knew beforehand that the building was literally attached to an abandon building however, it is so close to the beach and the lighthouse walking trail that I decided to book anyways and I am glad I did. We had no problems with any unwanted guest from the abandoned building next-door. That was our concern that we would run into people living there. It was very safe. We were even walking around well after midnight with no problem. The property itself is in great condition and it was very convenient to have a room with all the amenities that we were looking for the man at the check-in was very helpful .

The location is so good. The train station is 20m away from where you can travel easily with train to destinations like Lagos, Albufeira, Tavira, Olhau,… Also some very nice rooftop restaurants and bars are just 5 min away. The whole staff at the receiption was very kind and its VERY CLEAN! The price-cost-ratio is top overall.

Good location near the beach. Clean and quiet.. Property managers were helpful and knowledgeable. Wonderful breakfast at the sister hotel with a large variety of items.. 10 minute walk to get there. To note: there is a tear down building attached to the property. If you do not want to see this building, make sure you are clear where your room faces.

Overall, the apartment was exactly what we wanted. The location is perfect. It was very clean and we enjoyed it very much. The only issue was with check-in after research and receiving a message through Expedia we were told we had to check in at a different location, which we did we had the Uber driver drop us off there however we were given miscommunication and had to check in at the main apartment. It was very frustrating and the person on the desk said that many people are doing the same thing. So I think the message being sent out automatically has to be changed.

Perfect location and just a few steps to the beautiful Dona Ana beach. The Ponta da Piedade boardwalk access right across the street. A short walk to the old town and marina. The suite was huge! Had a big kitchen, living room and bedroom. It was spotless. We had a beautiful view from our gigantic balcony that had 2 sliding doors. Staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend Villa Doris suites.

Next to beach, 3 minute downhill walk. Ultra modern apartment, full kitchen, refrigerator, plates, etc, view of ocean. Quiet, clean, safe. 25 minute walk to Old Town Lagos. 7 minute Uber. 15 minute walk to grocery store. 25-minute walk along coast to lighthouse. Everyone walks to-from downtown, even at night, safe.
