This was one of the best stays of our trip to Portugal. The location is excellent! The place was clean, easily accessible, and staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this property!!

Multiple issues with this hotel. It's loud, during the day the building next door is under construction, big project that will take a few years to complete. At night the bars across the street that play music until 2 am. It wasn't vibrating my pillow like others have said(appears management has curtailed it somewhat) but it did require ear plugs to sleep. Also this is not what most would consider a regular hotel, there is no staff on premise. You register online and they give you an access code(write it down because if something happens to your phone there is no one to let you in the hotel). If you have a problem or need something you email them. Parking is a problem, you have to park on a dirt lot up the hill 10 min walk. But first you must drop your luggage somewhere. There is no place in front of the hotel to pull over so you need to find a side street to unload. Not an easy task. Lastly this is rated as a 4 star hotel. 4 star hotels are supposed to have amenities, this has none. No restaurant, no place for coffee in the morning, no place to refill water bottles, no staff. On the plus side rooms are nice, large, clean and comfortable. It is centrally located and close to lots of restaurants and bars.
