This hotel was clean and centrally located. Please be aware that they charge 7euros per luggage if you need luggage storage ahead of your check-in. Also, be aware that rooms do not have mini fridges, and some rooms have old and weak A/C units.

The hotel is in a good location for the marina and beach, although it is situated on a noisy main road. I should image in its day it was a great hotel but the rooms are in need of updating. Our toilet seat didn’t fit and there was a shower in the bath with a shower curtain. There was an extra charge to use the safe in the room. The breakfast was ok but the same each day with a collection of many cereals, the coffee from the machine wasn’t very nice at all. We didn’t use the pool, it was small and there weren’t many sun beds. However, the staff were helpful and friendly and Lagos was sunny with beautiful beaches.

The accommodation is not as described on the website. It was described as a 3 star hotel, but is barely a one star motel. The hotel claimed to offer ‘modern standard of comfort, whilst maintaining a friendly and efficient service’. However, this is contrary to my experience. I was also informed on checking in that I was not allowed any visitors, this was not in any way stated on the website and defeats the purpose of the use of a hotel. In a bid to make sure I could not have any visitors, they gained access to my room without my knowledge or request and removed two out of the four pillows on the bed. When I complained about all of this, I was told, that those were their rules, as if I was in a dormitory. It would appear that these so called rules were suddenly created solely for myself to adhere to as I could see people of other races come in and go out in threes and fours and use the amenities freely. When I made this known, I was told there was nothing I could do and the manager even murmured a racial slur. Bearing in mind, all of this happened within 3/4hours of checking in. Also the bed was wobbly and appeared as though it would collapse if I moved too vigorously in it. The beddings appeared also to be worn out and shabby and not modern as advertised. This hotel did not meet the promised standard of service and significantly deviates from what had been advertised. I even tried to resolve amicably with them, however I was met with a dismissive response.

Horrible experience, the place is terrible , broken shower, broken toilet seat, rude staff, unhelpful front office, the place looked like a place out of a ghost town of a scary movie, nothing was memorable from that place. The pictures on Expedia are nothing what the place looks like. So untidy and not recommend this to anyone. They price themselves low to attract clients but it’s not worth a cent. I tried looking for other places right after I reached but it was too late as August is a busy season. Give it ZERO rating. They keep the lights off so save monies. The front door is closed after 5pm. The list of Instructions to follow was like you signed up for a hostel dormitory. I met only one other guest and they were as terrible as I was. A BIG FAT NO for this place. Expedia shouldn’t allow such hosts on its website.

While the rest of the hotel staff were pleasant, our experience was completely ruined by the hostile behavior of the manager and a failure of basic hotel services. Unreliable Check-in: We were sent written instructions by the hotel stating that reception would close at 5:00 PM and our key would be in a lockbox. When we arrived, the lockbox was completely empty, leaving us stranded outside. When the manager came out, instead of apologizing for the mistake, he was visibly not happy with us for calling him—despite us simply following the hotel's own instructions. Aggressive & Intimidating Behavior: On August 13, we had a high-value rental bicycle. We politely asked to store it in a secure area or garage overnight. The manager refused, saying it was "too much work," and told us to park it unsecured on the public street. When we tried to bring it to our room to protect it, he confronted us. While we understand hotels have policies against bikes in rooms, his reaction was completely unacceptable. He screamed at us, told us to stop talking, and aggressively demanded to know "what country we were from" while shaking his head in a condescending tone. Hostile Environment: Throughout his tirade, we continuously apologized ("Sorry sir, we didn't mean to upset you"), but he continued shouting at us and refused to let us speak. We felt extremely shaken, intimidated, and uncomfortable for the remainder of our stay. We have traveled to many hotels and understand rules but a manager shoul

What a gem!

I absolutely loved this hotel and could go on and on with reasons why: charming, very clean and well-maintained; friendly, helpful staff; spacious room; comfortable bed and pillows; great rain shower; nice pool; walking distance to marina, numerous restaurants, beach, and both the bus and train stations (and I was toting two pieces of luggage); ice breakfast; budget-friendly rate. I would definitely stay here again.

Great boutique hotel

This was a really cute hotel! We enjoyed our stay and the staff was super friendly. The rooms were clean. We also spent a bit of time by the pool which was adorable! The hotel is about 20 mins walk across the marina to the main Lagos attractions and a little bit further to the beach but we didn’t mind at all! The value for the price was excellent with free breakfast as a nice added bonus.

The property was very old. The room smelled terrible the entire stay. In the room itself there was only one outlet to plug things in. The hotel is a lot older than shown in the photos online.

Vintage, cute hotel. The breakfast is the same thing daily with never a variety. The room key is micromanaged as you leave the building. The people are very nice and friendly. The bartender is a hoot! A ghost must have opened my closet door while I was away one day as they said no one entered the room. The beds are not soft, but the massive pillows can be used like a topper for comfort.

Its the worst hotel I’ve ever been into. The toilet smelled bad, the AC barely works and you need to be in the room, or else it shuts down because they refuse to give you 2 key-cards ( you need one so the electricity runs). There was only a broken safe in the room. No fridge, no coffee machine, no nothing. Average breakfast. The soap stinks. We asked for help to Monika and she was very rude. Would not recommend this to my worst enemy, keep your money. The hotel isn’t even well placed (location wise)

Stay in Lagos

We just needed a place to sleep because our house construction was running behind schedule. However, I did not expect to be walking into this kind of place at all. It felt like you were in 70’s. I asked the wonderful receptionist for some ice, which is standard in most hotels, and she provided me with a plastic cup with some ice cubes, while we waited, we overheard the hotel owner telling her, “if they want more, they can go buy it.” The lights in the lobby were all shut off, the light bulbs in the room were unscrewed, the toaster during breakfast had the settings so low that you had to wait for your bread to toast for almost a half an hour. The level of service and amenities is non - existent. The Receptionist in the evening shift was lovely, but all other workers looked scared and the place looks like the management is focusing on collecting the money and not providing any type of service.

Il punto debole: rumore di macchine tutta la notte essendo su strada a scorrimento veloce.
