Vacations Close To Lake Winnebago

When we arrived to our room the room had mold all over the shower. The bathroom floors had dirt and hair all over as well as the curtains having stains. After talking to the front desk about the mold they sent a cleaner but didn’t get all of it off.

I recently stayed at this property during the Notre Dame vs. Wisconsin game, and my experience was deeply disappointing. Despite the premium pricing, the room was unacceptable. Upon arrival, I found hair on the floor and two large spiders in the room. Furthermore, there was no soap provided, and the door lock was insecure, making me feel unsafe. When I requested extra sheets to cover the bed, the staff questioned my request rather than addressing the cleanliness issues. While the staff were polite, the condition of the room did not come close to meeting basic hospitality standards. I feel the value received was nowhere near the amount paid! It was Discusting!

Not so nice. Kind of a dumpy place. No red updating. Front desk was okay.

I requested a first floor room as they didn’t have an elevator, and I have mobility issues at age 73. I don’t know if they had rooms with walk-in shower, but my room was a tub/shower combo, so I had to step over the tub edge and there were no grab bars at all. I would recommend walk-in showers with grab bars for all first floor rooms for folks with mobility issues.
