Vacations Close To Lake Tekapo

We booked a suite that was almost the same price as a regular room. We thought we were getting a steal from the pictures. However, the pictures reflect what the newer part of the hotel is. Our room was in the older part of the hotel. So, that's why there are a few "average" ratings on there. The room was very large and had the same furniture and decorations as the pictures, but it was clearly not the same rooms, or they were AI enhanced. I no longer feel we got a "steal" of a deal, but now that the pricing was appropriate for the older room we got. Our room faced the pool and you should know they blast music from about 10 am - 8 or 9 pm and you will hear it. The shower in our room smelled like sewer and the grout in the tile was not very clean. We showered in our shower shoes to be on the safe side. The casino does not ventilate smoke from smokers very well. If you spend any time in the casino you will likely smell like smoke. Other than that the pool was very nice, the staff is friendly and helpful, parts of the hotel are older but maintained, and I would say it's mostly clean. Hope this helps!

Will be staying again! By far the best hotel to stay at on the strip, no walkways going through the property, leaving it mostly to just guests. 5 pools, my favorite was the lazy river. Staff are helpful. Rooms are clean

Good hotel. Less than Aria. Big rooms. Not many amenities other than pool and work-out room. The resort fee is outrageous. Over $60 with tax. Parking is $40 per day, also very high and you have to valet it or walk 3/4 of a mile from the self-parking area...good for getting steps in but not great hauling your luggage in 105-degree heat.

Front desk people were extremely rude and that’s the second time that’s happened to me. I didn’t get what I paid for and then they tried to up charge you to suites and so on be cautious.
