Do not judge this book by its cover. It is under new management, who are absolutely dedicated to ensuring you have an amazing stay. When I booked this room for a bike trip with 7 other people, I did so because it was listed as bike friendly. When pulled up, it looked a little less promising. As soon as I walked through the door and started talking to the staff, I was greeted by people who wanted to serve. I got my old school key for the room, entered and was greeted by a modern, clean and well maintained space. The adjoining restaurant and bar was top notch. Highly recommended for an extremely fair price. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Our car broke down and we were towed to Lac-Megantic. I found the hotel on Expedia and it turned out to be a great find. The check in was quick and easy. Room was good size and very clean, and beds comfortable. But the best part was the hospitality of the owners. We asked for later check out as our car was still in a shop. This was readily accommodated without extra payment. They were also very reluctant to accept gratuities, we had to insist. We highly recommend this hotel

Stayed for a couple of nights in the middle of winter. It was quiet, warm, comfortable, clean, and the restaurant downstairs is the sort of place the locals eat in by choice. You can pay a lot more and get a lot less than this. We'll probably be heading back.

It was a nice room, and I know this isn’t the motel’s fault but there was a really annoying barking dog on the floor… I’m assuming the motel allows pets? I don’t know but it definitely is the reason I’m docking a star. Food at the onsite restaurant was good we had dinner and breakfast there.

The toilet did not flush with enthusiasm. When brought to the attention of staff they came right away and checked it out. The staff said that one must hold the flush lever until all the water left the reservoir. To me the siphon of the toilet is inadequate and the toilet needs an upgrade or there is something else wrong. The room requires at least one chair as there is no place to sit. Air conditioner was noisy even on low fan, however it worked well. Room and linen were clean, beds comfortable.

This is a great family owned/run value hotel, restaurant and bar. We spent three nights here while enjoying the outdoor activities of winter in Quebec! Great location with easy access to trails. The rooms were clean the staff very accommodating. The rooms were adequate size and all had balconies. We would stay here again!
