The dining experience we had the first day was average but the breakfast we had included were great. I appreciated the attention I was able to receive through WhatsApp . Very convenient. I would recommend this place for anyone who travels with family wants a relaxing time, wants great service and a direct access with beautiful view to the beach .

Everything about our recent stay here was wonderful. The views, the hospitality, the continental breakfast !YUM! We can’t wait to go back, seriously having withdrawals and we just got back home. We stayed five days, the best! Being able to wake up and walk straight to the beach was lovely.
Beach access is just a few steps away.
Continental breakfast included.
You can even use their kayak for free, just ask!

Great vacation location away from busy downtown La Paz and close enough to drive there in 15 minutes. Breakfast was a nice addition. The sunset views are amazing. Very peaceful to watch pelicans dive for fish, dolphins swim by if you’re up early, and watch boats come and go in the channel. It was a bit windy and chilly during early January so I didn’t swim or visit beach but did see others snorkeling and drifting in current: be careful. Staff were very friendly and attentive to any needs. Mitch at bar makes great smoothies. Alejandro at front desk was generally available to help with excursions and other recommendations. My opinion on dinner was mixed as appetizers delicious but octopus entree was too chewy (it can be tricky to cook). There’s also a nice restaurant “Seaside” next door- make reservation and walk there but beware it is not in the nearby hotel- that one is less fancy and different rating. I enjoyed my stay and would return if I ever get to B.C.S. again. Be sure to swim with Whale sharks and do Balandra hike/kayak/snorkel- we liked the folks at Mexican Travel Adventure.

Beautiful location and overall property. Very friendly and helpful staff. A few issues with booking outside travel and rides. Shower head and bathroom electrical outlets were an issue but overall a beautiful stay.

ok- I put walkable- it is 2 miles into town. But it is a very nice walk. The town has done an unbelievable job creating this long path into town. The property was great. They know how to make good cocktails! Lastly, this could be the best town I have ever been too... not in Mexico... anywhere. Safe, clean, laid back. Truly a wonderful place with great people!

The resort is beautiful. It is clean and nice. The rooms are big and very clean. Stuff are not friendly they are rude. The service is very slow. They have no one in the Weather reception or taking care of the facility at night time. So if you have an emergency you will have to figure it out on your own.

We splurged and booked the presidential suite, it was absolutely gorgeous with incredible panoramic views, it was clean and comfortable. However, apart from that, it’s hard to imagine the staff managing to make our experience worse. The service was slow and we were continuously made to feel like we were an inconvenience to them. I could go into detail on every interaction but there were too many to get into, our friend who was also staying had an identical experience. It was hard to understand, because the place was spectacular but everything just made us feel unwelcome.

For being one of the most expensive hotels in La Paz it was a bad experience.The customer service was horrible they looked mad all the time and took for ever to get a drink made. The bungolow rooms look really cool on their website but A/C was not working and also leaking on our bed. (It was 109F) so yeah that wasnt fun. The lighting around the bungolow was pretty and i tripped and cut my toe pretty bad. This is the first time i write a negative review and sucks that it had to be in La Paz

The property itself is quite pretty. The rooms are large and nicely appointed. The bar and kitchen staff were very friendly and accommodating. BUT...that is where the service quality ends. We went to the bar one evening at 9:30, only to be told that they were closed. The lobby is only staffed starting after 7am, so we weren't able to do a proper checkout. There is no restroom close to the pool or beach club. You have to walk to the lobby or across the parking lot. There does not seem to be any concierge or other service available to book tours or other activities. The rooms do not have irons, so you have to request one from housekeeping. But, the thing that REALLY annoyed me, was that they charged me 600 pesos in "damages" because one of the bath towels was dirty. I found this to be ridiculous. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel. I found that for the price, the services were minimal. I expected better.

Pros: quiet boutique hotel, swimmable beach, spacious suite, free parking Cons: - This was not a 5 star hotel - service was cold and at times it felt like we were annoying the staff if we asked for breakfast or any general questions. When we checked out, instead of asking how our stay was, the front desk clerk told us to wait while they did a security and housekeeping check on our room - I’ve never experienced this and it was an annoying inconvenience. - We had an ocean view suite for $480/night and several things were broken in the room - the steam shower, the ceiling fan, and the ac unit in the bedroom (they had a wall unit in the living room area but it wasn’t powerful enough to sufficiently cool the bedroom on the other side, which meant we had to sleep in a warm room (temps were 74-99). No apologies or offers to make it right, just a text reply to confirm that yes these items are broken. The toilet flush panel broke as well but at least they fixed this. Overall it seems that they’ve let things go over the years. - Beach club was an exaggeration - they had about 8 teepees and it was open to the public as well. Luckily we were there during a quiet week, but I imagine these would fill up quickly during busy season. - No shaded seating by the pool - Included breakfast was a bit of fruit, tiny store-bought stale muffins and a small scoop of yogurt with a teaspoon of granola. We had a car so didn’t spend all day there, but they need to make service and amenity improvements.

Amazing hotel to stay in! Location was perfect. The most beautiful beach right on the property. Great food, free continental breakfast everyday, large sized rooms, AC, and super friendly staff. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone staying in La Paz!
