Excellent experience. The hotel is located near a marina (5 min walking distance) that has 4 terrific restaurants: Pizza, Sushi and 2 Mexican food Restaurants. The hotel has a private beach and beach club area. Terrific food served in the hotel restaurant as well. There is only one bar tender/server by the pool area.

No notes. Just an unforgettable stay for our family of 4. No need to even leave the property with the marina at a short and beautiful walking distance and the beach was a 1,000 times better and prettier than Balandra itself. Shout out to an amazing and attentive staff especially Martin and Reymundo from the pool bar and Francisco from Barco who made us the best mezcalitas and negronis ever.

Beautiful hotel, everything cleaned and well maintained. Relaxing and the beach is perfect to swim in! Only complaint is that it’s 15 min drive to the malecon, so unless you plan on eating on property every meal, you have to take a taxi (about 20 bucks) each way to malecón! There is uber but since the hotel is far out they consistently would cancel the rides! But over all it was a beautiful hotel.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway without the noise of cars or loud music, this is the perfect spot. The hotel is just 15 minutes from the Malecón, yet it feels wonderfully safe and quiet — exactly what we love. I enjoyed an incredible massage during my stay, and we’re already planning to return next year.

Room was very good, and very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but English is a challenge for many - (my Spanish is worse). Several good restaurants close by - best is the one at their golf course - exceptional. Drink bottled water everywhere, including hotel - not tap water. Probably the best place to stay in La Pas.

The property is clean and nice. It’s directly on the Baja Marina, which is a beautiful area. It’s about a 10 minute drive from the Melacon, but very peaceful. It seems like it’s a newer resort in a developing area, as the staff all seem to be pretty new at their jobs. It’s just what it seems like. For instance, questions about the airport and then dining at the restaurant, some servers just didn’t either know the answer to our questions or didn’t understand English well. However, it seems most of the people staying at the hotel were English speaking. Also, we wanted to rent paddle boards, but the person who ran that area was never there in the morning when they were supposed to be. However, the beach is very calm and clean, and swimmable with two large floating platform rafts out in the water.
