Excellent location and comfortable rooms. The complex and rooms were perfect for our week long stay. Very comfortable for us with separate bedroom and living space, kitchen well furnished for us to cook for ourselves. Pool was lovely, big enough. Gym space and equipment good for a hotel gym. Filtered water machine, games room, laundry room. Location was excellent in the little village, walking distance to cafes and restaurants, supermarkets, and to the beaches too. Plenty of off street parking in the area. There is construction taking place in the area but it really wasn’t that noisy and didn’t bother us. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Esmeralda Homes Aparthotel. Check‑in was simple and straightforward, and the duplex itself was clean, modern, and well appointed. The only feature we weren’t entirely convinced by was the large bathtub on the upper sun terrace — an interesting choice, though we weren’t sure how practical it was. Before arriving, we had been a little concerned about potential construction noise from the two nearby developments, but this turned out to be unnecessary. There was no building activity over the festive period, and our stay was wonderfully peaceful. Overall, we’d happily book and stay at the Esmeralda again in the future.

Beautiful high quality new apartment. Loved the roof terrace with the bath and balcony with sea views for the spectacular sunsets. Swimming pool was great but also very close to sandy beaches. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained. Apartment serviced daily and new bedding alternate days. Loved the resort of El Cotillo with old port with its bars and restaurants. Only downside was the building work in the resort.

Excellent accommodation. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Two TVs in apartment and include main British channels. Only negative was the checking in process. High level security with complicated check in. If you arrive after 4pm reception is closed. Ahead of your arrival you will be sent a detailed form but we weren’t sent a QR code which you need. This is an area that needs improving. Lots of building work’s going on next to apartments so one side of apartments look out onto building site. Nice sea views from front of apartments and lots of good local restaurants within walking distance.

A brand new property, just one street from and excellent beach. The property is in excellent condition and very quiet. Front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Just a short walk to a smaller supermarket and 5-10 minutes from the main supermarket with restaurants nearby

This is 3rd time we have stayed and have recommended property to others. We arrived at 3.45pm and reception was closed we were in room where the bed was a above the air conditioning units in the garage we phoned the number from the door at reception and they said they would call back. They didn’t call back. After a sleepless night at 8am next day we saw the lady at reception and she was very helpful and swapped the room. We then had a really good stay location of property is very good and will be back.

It was clean but the rooms are serviced every other day, not every day. Main disappointment is lack of privacy on the roof terrace lots of other guests could see me naked getting into the rooftop bath or sunbathing. Didn't bother me but it might be an issue for them. I did request an end room which looked to be a little more private but I got a middle room. We were told the end rooms were booked but I never saw any sign of this the entire week. On the whole it was nice for the money and I have no regrets with booking this hotel. I knew there was building work there before I booked so I can't complain about it. Yes I would recommend it, but other hotels like cotillo reef next door has a much more private rooftop terrace & bath but it costs a bit more.

Building work surrounds the hotel, no warning of this. Rock breaker machine works constantly 8-6pm Monday to Saturday so no chance have an afternoon siesta. You can use the outdoor furniture without cleaning off the constant dust from the ongoing work across the road. No discount or compensation offered from the hotel although when you do complain the receptionist say that comments will be passed on to the management and compensation looked into, this is just to make you think they are taking your complaint seriously, don’t be fooled.

Der Aufenthalt war gut. Schöne große Wohnungen mit kleiner Küchenzeile und basic Ausstattung war vorhanden. Leider war es nicht ganz sauber, und die Details wurden übersehen. Dies war leider etwas schade. Sehr nettes Personal. Der Pool ist nur von 11:00 bis 17:00 geöffnet, da scheinbar ein Bademeister anwesend sein muss. Fußläufig zum Supermarkt, sehr praktisch. Der Strand vor Ort ist okay, aber 10 Minuten mit dem Auto weg wirklich atemberaubend. Achtung die Baustelle arbeitet unter der Woche mit Presslufthammern am Fundament, da ist an Siesta leider nicht zu denken (liegt nicht in der macht vom Hotel).
