Perfect location right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants. Room was very comfortable if a bit dated and the AC was very loud. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location on the beach! Loved the courtyard area with games. The pool was great, and the location to local restaurants and kayak tours was all within walking distance. Big plus for us! We loved the La Jolla Shores Hotel! Our room was clean, bright, and included everything we needed. Staff was courteous and helpful. Our coastline view was beautiful! We enjoyed sitting on our balcony, walking on the beach and relaxing in our lovely room. Would definitely come and visit again!

It gets you on the water but not 4 or 5 star resort. Would have been cool if they let you know the facility was under major construction. We made the best of it. Restaurant and bar are spot on. We had a couple of drinks the first night in the bar and breakfast down stairs on our way out. Location is great away from the big crowds but everything is walking distance. Booked it as we were driving down south for a couple of days. We would stay again once construction is done.
