We had a lovely 4 night stay. Great location, and nice restaurants nearby (especially Trevesia). Great view of the volcano, nice and clean grounds with very friendly staff and guests. Breakfast was simple but good (3 options: eggs fried or scrambled, either with toast, pancakes, or rice/beans). Overall, a nice 3-star hotel, we were happy with this choice.

Staff was very friendly and ready to help. We had an issue with the toilet and they came to help right away and resolved the issue. Location was great and very walkable to town. Beautiful grounds and pool looked beautiful. (We didn’t end up using it due to thunderstorms but wished we had been able to). They were wonderful and accommodated our early morning departure with an early breakfast. It was a very nice place to stay.

The hospitality was the best we experienced in Costa Rica. The breakfast service was amazing. The room was everything it promised and more! The privacy and the safety measures they take are far above and beyond anything we experienced else where. The staff were absolutely professional, kind, courteous, and helpful at all times. If you were going to go to La Fortuna, this is where you stay no other place.

Our stay at hotel secreto was perfect! Walkable to everything in La Fortuna. Fabricio working the front desk was so kind and accommodating. The pool was just another amazing feature to relax in and the complementary breakfast was delicious! We even saw a sloth right out front the minute we arrived!
