Excellent resort situated in an incredible rainforest setting. We are a family of four (kids aged 6 and 8) and everything about our stay at The Lost Iguana was better than expected. The resort is close to all the key attractions in the area, yet tucked away in a tranquil rainforest. We saw countless birds and heard howler monkeys right off our balcony. At night, you can see various types of frogs including red eye tree frogs around the property. This is a a real gem of a resort and one that my family and I cannot wait to come back k to visit.

This was our second stay at Lost Iguana and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Our room was very spacious, and we especially loved the outdoor shower and the incredible view. The rooms feel like you’re staying on a private property while still enjoying all the amenities of a great hotel. We traveled with our three children and found it very family-friendly. The restaurants have plenty of food options for kids for both breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they especially loved the pool area. The location is also fantastic—close to many La Fortuna activities while still feeling quiet and secluded. We would absolutely stay here again.

It was settled in right next to the Mistico Hanging Bridges, super cool rainforest location. The breakfast had a wide range of fruit and choices. Ate in the restaurant for two dinners and the food wasn’t cheap but decent value given the quality. The rooms were nice with a balcony that opened up looking at the Arena Volcano with no end to f birds ripping around. Loved our stay

Beautiful hotel in the rainforest! The grounds were immaculate and stunning, the rooms spacious and very clean. Hotel staff is wonderful, shout out to German at the pool bar! The food was excellent including the free breakfast buffet. Uber is super accessible and its a quick ride to downtown La Fortuna.
