I stayed at the Lost Iguana for 9 days and it was absolutely incredible. The staff were absolutely amazing and treated me like I was family. I cannot say enough good things about this resort. I saw lots of wildlife on the property and the landscaping and resort were stunning. I will definitely be back in the future!

No idea where to begin with this review! Everything and everyone made my stay here awe-inspiring! Food was beyond delicious, and the wait staff made the whole experience amazing. Excellent resort situated in an incredible rainforest setting. We are a family of four (kids aged 6 and 8) and everything about our stay at The Lost Iguana was better than expected. The resort is close to all the key attractions in the area, yet tucked away in a tranquil rainforest. We saw countless birds and heard howler monkeys right off our balcony. At night, you can see various types of frogs including red eye tree frogs around the property. This is a a real gem of a resort and one that my family and I cannot wait to come back k to visit.

Our room was simply spectacular! The furniture is gorgeous, the AC works great, the bath is spacious, and the view is phenomenal! Breakfast was delicious, with many choices, and the greatest coffee. This was our second stay at Lost Iguana and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Our room was very spacious, and we especially loved the outdoor shower and the incredible view. The rooms feel like you’re staying on a private property while still enjoying all the amenities of a great hotel. We traveled with our three children and found it very family-friendly. The restaurants have plenty of food options for kids for both breakfast, lunch, and dinner and they especially loved the pool area. The location is also fantastic—close to many La Fortuna activities while still feeling quiet and secluded. We would absolutely stay here again.

It was settled in right next to the Mistico Hanging Bridges, super cool rainforest location. The breakfast had a wide range of fruit and choices. Ate in the restaurant for two dinners and the food wasn’t cheap but decent value given the quality.
