We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Campo Verde. The little cabin felt like beautiful, natural, laid back Costa Rica, which is perfect. It was clean and easy and a nice change from corporate hotels and resorts. We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a great place to stay that also feels authentic.

The location of this hotel is great! Just outside of the town of La Fortuna so it’s very quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to all of the attractions and activities. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view of the volcano was amazing and the trail on the property was really beautiful to see.

The hotel reception staff was very friendly & helpful. The grounds are beautifully planted and well-maintained - lots of birds! Breakfast was substantial with good choices. Room was clean and spacious. For those driving, there’s ample parking. The trail in back is fine, but a bit overgrown & insect repellent is required, but nice walk.
