Property was amazing. Nice secluded piece of the rainforest paradise. Amazing how clean they kept it, and how they were able to keep any critters outside the house (no issues with bugs, etc). Would stay again.

Absolutely loved the property. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen area was very convenient. The outdoor area was perfect. The villas staff were nice and helpful. The staff at restaurant that provided breakfast were the best. Kind and attentive. Only little issue was the bugs but to be expected being in jungle. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting.

The staff were so nice and beautiful villas very spacious and gorgeous. Were able To contact staff easily and our WiFi went out during a storm and they were quick to get it fixed and repaired for us. They did a special surprise on my birthday for me which was very nice of them and everyone was super nice and stunning views. Super close to waterfall and free breads at at Geckos. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

The rental was great if you like to be close to nature. It needed a little cleaning due to insects, but the staff came to clean it once we notified them. They were very helpful. The breakfast was really good, with generous portions. They also helped us book some excursions, which were really helpful. Really good customer service.

We had such a great stay! The view from the house with the private pool is amazing. The rooms are very spacious as are the bathrooms. Our only complaint to that there isn’t more casual seating in the living area. We wish there were a few more comfortable chairs in there. Otherwise, this property was perfect. We really appreciated the amazing breakfast every day at geckos! The owners are so sweet and the food was amazing. The fact that our stay included breakfast and tickets to the mystico hanging bridges made our trip so easy! I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Our chalet was absolutely beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay. Loved being in the middle of nature and also close to the La Fortuna waterfall. The hammock on our deck and large rain shower was wonderful. Unfortunately when we came the resort was under a complete re-haul and the pool and main reception area was not available. But they were very upfront about that from the start and gave us free breakfasts at a local restaurant and also free tickets to Mistico Hanging Bridges. From the look of the construction the resort is going to be amazing when complete. We would love to come back and see it finished!!

It's in a jungle rainforest, so it's quiet and peaceful - with the background sounds of birds and other critters scurrying or calling in the forest. My teen grandsons thought that was very cool. It's a lovely place and has a kitchen. Just remember to bring a lighter to light the stove or send a note via What's App to the main Lodge & they can supply one.

Rustic if staying in the tree villas and not the main lodge. Need an suv to reach the tree villas. The villa is very spacious but isolated, if you like to live in the rain forest. Many moths/bugs attracted to lights at night. Nice during the day. Cerro Chato observation hike included. Very very difficult hike requiring good hiking shoes. Regardless you will get muddy. But the swim in the volcano crater lake is spectacular. Note: you need to cross into national park land to reach the lake ( ie trepassing) but everyone does the hike. $16 pp if not staying at the lodge. 500 meters to the Arenal Waterfall entrance. $20 per person to get in. 500 steps down to waterfall so be fit because you have to come back up. But Cerro Chato infinitely harder.

Beautiful and well kept extremely clean when we arrived. The property is absolutely beautiful. The staff was very kind and friendly. They even escorted us to our room. The only thing that I would say is there were no coffee filters, there was no water hook up to the fridge so we do not have access to freshwater to drink. Cooking supplies were extremely limited. For instance, we needed a potato peeler.

We had a wonderful experience at this property. 6 adults stayed in the 3 bed, 3 bath villa while we explored all around the region. It was spacious and clean, quiet and peaceful. After a day of hiking and exploring, it was great to relax here. There’s a kitchen and a fridge but we didn’t use it as we preferred to eat in town - not too far by car. We felt so immersed in nature without leaving the house. The views are beautiful. Pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s way better IRL. Don’t skip on breakfast-Scott and his crew are waiting.

This place is huge and beautiful. I don’t think the pictures on the website give enough impression to show people how gorgeous this place is. Few minor maintenance repairs to be done but it looks like they renovating now. It didn’t affect our stay. Located only few minutes away from la Fortuna waterfalls. We were given free entrance tickets to Hanging bridges park for the whole family and breakfast at the restaurant that located few minutes away. Very good experience, would definitely be back if in the area again

This was one of the best hotels / resorts we’ve ever stayed in. My family of 4 (13 yr old and 10 yr old) had a private villa to ourselves nestled right in the jungle. The villa had two floors, with the master suite and king size bed on the top level. The kids loved that the first floor even had a loft with its own mattress. The kitchen was well equipped too. Before booking we saw several comments about the humidity; yes, it’s a bit damp and humid but you are in the RAINFOREST. That’s the beauty of it. Saw lots of birds and agoutis, other wildlife. The lodges are just a couple of minutes from the fortuna waterfall, and super accessible to the many hot springs and the volcano trails. One of the best things included is the breakfast; the Gecko restaurant is excellent. Charlie and Scott are wonderful. Delicious food! Also, our booking came with access to the mystic bridges. Overall, this was one of the best values we’ve ever had. Absolutely loved it!!
