The room is super clean and the view is amazing. All the staffs are super friendly. It was an easy check in and check out. My best friend and I had an amazing time at La Fortuna and would definitely want to stay at Fortuna Retreat again.

Great location. Breakfast at Arenal Oasis whilst birdwatching was a treat. Bathroom doesn’t have an extractor so it got very humid. In room safe didn’t work. Private sitting area with the plunge pool was lovely for cooling down.

Our stay at Fortuna Retreat was absolutely AMAZING! It truly was "Retreat-style" as it was peaceful, rejuvenating, and wonderfully private.The property is beautifully designed, with natural plants throughout the landscape creating calm, relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spotless, had comfortable bed and a gorgeous view. The staff is wonderful! They coordinated all of our tours, and each one was executed perfectly. Breakfast was delicious and the outside dining area was full of wildlife. One of my favorite stays ever—highly recommended!

Very nice place to stay in La Fortuna, supermarket, restaurants in walking distance, friendly staff, beautiful rooms with direct view to the volcano, the breakfast is served in a place nearby where you have a very simple breakfast but you can observe the birds during your breakfast, worth to go

An absolutely beautiful property - views are stunning, rooms are wonderful. It’s a calm and tranquil vibe. Ideal for couples. Location is close to everything yet still secluded from the craziness of touristy downtown Fortuna. Can’t recommend enough!

I would totally recommend staying here! Very clean, beautiful property, very spacious rooms. Amazing volcano view. A small common area with microwave, water boiler, etc. Small but clean pool. Very good soda just around the corner. Breakfast is in another hotel, but was okay.
