Amazing food, comfortable rooms. Some art by local artists in the rooms would have been nicer since it looks like they renovated and just opened quickly without making it too homey. It was also pretty echoey because there weren’t art on the walls. The mirror above the seats was also set up for very tall people. Like taller than 6ft

What a fantastic place to stay in La Fortuna! The staff was fantastic day after day, the location was beautiful (particularly the view from our room), and it was well located for venturing out to various excursions. Would love to stay there again!

We loved staying at the Hotel Boutique Casa Del Rio. The staff was extremely gracious and helpful. Everyone we met seemed happy to work there. Our room, tucked away in a lovely oasis-like environment, was very clean and comfortable. I loved the grounds and the restaurant. And we got to see howler monkeys along the river!

This is a beautiful resort property and our room was spacious, modern and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the balcony and waking up to the sound of birds and the nearby river. The restaurant is excellent for dinner as well as breakfast. It’s a bit out from the center of town but an easy taxi away.

Boutique Casa del Rio exceeded all my expectations! The property is very lush, beautiful, and well-maintained, and so convenient that it’s close to town. The staff are very friendly and the hearty breakfast included is amazing. The rooms are well laid out and spacious, including the bathroom with a large walk-in shower and the most powerful rain showerhead. This is the most efficiently run property I’ve ever stayed at!

All staff were friendly and accommodating. Alex was especially helpful, recommending and making reservations for restaurants as well as other accommodations. Our room was clean, spotless every day. We loved watching squirrel monkeys from our balcony and hanging out by the pool. The location was very convenient to walk to beaches and restaurants.

Great stay and amazing location but the room was not clean. Right when my friend and I walked into the room, we found an acrylic nail on the floor and hair in the shower. The towels had bleach stain on them and the mattress was really hard. Like rock solid. The property is gorgeous so we had no complaints about that and staff was very nice, especially at the restaurant. We also had a big bug problem in the room (understandable since we are in the jungle I get it) but it was really bad. There is a gap under the sliding door with squished bugs that were not cleaned. SO many bugs and we were freaking out killing them everynight before we went to bed.
