Don’t even look at another resort, this place is it!!! Absolutely breathtaking rooms and property and the staff make your stay extremely special and personalized. It was the best experience I’ve had traveling and I’ve been around the world. Worth every penny spent and will definitely stay at Amor Arenal again!!

Amazing stay in a beautiful hotel

We stayed at Amor Arenal for 3 nights and had the most amazing time. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the room was beautiful and the facilities in the room were brilliant. All staff were incredible, from check in to the restaurants. The food at the restaurant was also incredible! We managed to see the volcano from our room and the restaurant, so beautiful. It isn’t walking distance to anything but that didn’t matter for us. The yoga & meditation platform was under construction while we were there unfortunately but other than that, it was faultless!

It’s an extraordinary place. Beautifully designed property, extremely comfortable, with fantastic staff, some of the best hotel staff we’ve met in the world. The food is inventive and great as is the drink selection. I really can’t say enough good things about the place it’s truly exceptional.

Property is unmatched! The customer service, the rooms, the grounds, everything was perfect. It is close to downtown area but still get that secluded feel. It’s definitely a hotel to enjoy your company as there is not much to do unless you leave the hotel but definitely a good spot for one or two nights.

This place is AMAZING! Everything from food, the room, the staff and surrounding facilities are fantastic. Each casita is secluded enough that you really dont know anyone else is around. The views from the casita are unbelievable. The staff here is amazing. They will do everything in their power to make sure you have the best stay.

Amor Arenal is truly an oasis. This was a birthday trip for my wife and both a first in CR. The facility has breathtaking rooms and venue and lacking NOTHING! All the staff are genuine and truly amazing. Jogebeth, I have to mention is a gem that the owner needs to know how special she is and how much she was a deciding factor in me officially securing our stay in CR at Amor Arenal. Thank you thank you thank you for making my wife’s birthday exceptionally memorable!!!!

The cabins ("casitas") are lovely, comfortable, and very private, with hot tubs built into the deck and a plate glass view of Arenal Volcano from the double rain shower. Beds extremely comfortable. Wonderful staff. Two on-campus hiking trails with lots of animals. Gym, spa, and yoga and meditation cabins also look directly out into the rain forest. Beautiful.

Amor Arenal was incredible. The private pool with the view of the volcano made everything. Oscar was wonderful, he not only was great in helping us get around the resort but spent time showing us a pregnant mom sloth and bringing Berny over to look through his telescope. Such a wonderful way to end our honeymoon, they gave us chocolates, sparkling wine, and flowers as well. The staff and service were great. Would recommend to anything looking to relax, have a beautiful view, delicious food, and a great location for grabbing a taxi into the town of La Fortuna.

The entire property is amazing, the internet pictures don’t do it justice. The giant 2 head rain shower overlooking the jungle was a great experience. Private hot tub looking at the volcano was another plus. The staff is completely accommodating, Raquel was our “go to” concierge and fantastic. ❤️ Billy took us on the nature, jungle walk and I highly recommend that! He had a giant Spotting scope to point out sloths, beautiful birds and incredible flowers! The volcano was magnificent and we saw the top most days. For us, the beginning of September we experienced a rain shower most days that lasted about an hour. Warm rain, no wind and a perfect time to sit at the swim up bar for a cocktail in a coconut! The spa! A coffee scrub with a full massage watching the jungle and listening to the monkeys was sheer delight! Highly recommend this resort, completely 5 star!

This was honestly one of the best vacations we have ever been on. The hotel was definitely 5 stars. The room was something out of a magazine and the grounds are beautiful and lush. The fact that the hotel only has 30 or so casitas, makes it feel like you have the whole resort to yourself sometimes. The free breakfast was always the highlight of our day as we tried all the wonderfully delicious options with the costarican breakfast being our favorite. The staff was also very helpful at all times. Anything we needed, all we had to do was ask and they would see it done. Ronald our service was terrific, Carlos and Jogebeth were fantastic concierge. Steven, Mauricio, Kelvin and Cindy were also some who contributed to our beautiful vacation. The casitas all have an amazing jacuzzi that we used every day, even in the rain. And speaking of rain, it did rain every day of our vacation but it never stopped us from venturing to town for dinner or to the waterfalls and hanging bridges. The rain was just as beautiful. Thank you all for making this the best time ever. We hope to be back very soon.
