Located right next to Kyoto station, the hotel is convenient for getting where you need to within the city. Rooms are spacious, although you have to manually turn the air conditioning on each time you put the key card into the holder. The breakfast buffet can be hit and miss, but the items remain the same every day

This hotel was good. Points for the location. It is just across Kyoto Station and if you want to explore Kyoto, you will need access to this station. I loved their bathroom/toilet rooms set up. Most interesting. Though minus points for their AC unit. At least in my room, I found it wanting. Kyoto summers are no joke. The cooling system only goes down to 20 C or about 68 F. That’s okay, it’s not uncomfortable. But I would have preferred to have the option of going down to 18 C. Again, it gets very, very hot in Kyoto.

The staff was excellent and the hotel itself was very nice. The property is literally across the street from the train station which made this an excellent hub to explore Tokyo. The only thing that was missing was an Onsen. I would highly recommend this property.
