The property was ok. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only complaint i have is that their breakfast did not have vegetarian options except the bread and omelet. With diverse tourists, they should include that to make the stay worth the price.

British Solo Traveller

The toyoko inn in kyoto was a no thrills, great value hotel. Its great if you just want a base to explore from, nothing fancy. The bed and room was comfortable and all amenities were very useful. The location was brilliant being not from from eateries, shopping places and transport networks.

You can't go wrong with Japan, or Kyoto. Almost any place is good, but this toyoko inn is at a very good location, and the bus stop is a short 100 m walk. About 2 miles from Kiyomizutera, and nijo-jo area.
