Awesome hotel and location! Cannot go wrong here, perfect for couples and first timers to the area. Super simple access the hotel, and depart, to the subway when coming in and going to/from another location. Would stay here again!

You can’t beat the location in Kyoto! It was very easy to access all the shops, stations, and bus stops. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, comfortable beds, friendly staff and free coffee and sake in the lobby. A downside is that they charge extra for supplies needed to use the kitchen, and the washer and drying operation is only explained in Japanese—so may experience trial and error to do your laundry.

Can't beat the location, within Nishiki market and next to Pontocho Alley - Lots of dining options nearby. Hotel is across the river from Gion and iconic Yasaka Pagoda (10-15 minute walk). Staff is extremely friendly and hotel is ver clean and well maintained. Hotel offers complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and sake tasting everyday from 1-9 p.m. in the lobby, which was very nice after a long of walking. They also, had activity table for the younger children to keep them entertained while the parents enjoyed sake. 10 out 10 for this hotel!

Great location for shopping and eating! Two shopping doris and Nishiki market nearby as well. A lot of restaurants to choose from nearby. Wonderful premium hair products, body wash and blow dryer provided in the room. The coffee/espresso machine in the lobby was most appreciated as well as the sake provided in the lobby. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Wonderful time at this establishment. It’s my second stay at the hotel.

This hotel is located near to an abundance of shops and restaurants near Nishiki market. The room was well equipped including a washer/dryer unit which for us is a game-changer. And our clothes were completely dry when the cycle finished, unlike the multiple trips to the usual hotel communal laundry to add more dry time. Reception was very helpful in assisting us with luggage forwarding services too. If we come back we’d definitely stay here again.

It is not our first time to the Tokyo stay and our experience was excellent like last time. Location was excellent, staff was helpful regarding sending out baggages, coffee and sake to relax in the lobby and a washing machine in our room makes this hotel a must. Highly recommend

This hotel is fantastic! A great location in Kyoto - walking distance to many sites and train/metro stations. The rooms are spacious, with all the conveniences one has in a hotel (e.g., front desk service, complimentary beverages, bath amenities) with the privacy of an AirB&B (e.g., room cleaning only when requested, washer/dryer in room, multiple seating areas and sinks). It is super clean and comfortable too. Highly recommended!
