Great location in a residential beautiful street, as opposed to a touristy area. It’s about 10 minutes to the train station and 20 min walking to the Kyoto station. We enjoyed our 5 night stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and reasonable size. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s in a quieter area of Kyoto, mostly accessible by bus or walking but just a little further away from tourist hotspots. The mini fridge was pretty useless as it wouldn’t get colder regardless of what setting we used, and the lobby didn’t have any coffee or snacks until 2:30pm unless you paid for breakfast. We would stay again.
