I was in Japan for 2 weeks, stayed in 5 locations. This was my absolute favorite hotel and location. Walkable to and from train and bus locations, shopping and fabulous restaurants all super close. Perfect little place in Downtown. Walkable to almost everything and you really get a sense of downtown Kyoto. Short walk to Nishiki Market and Teramachi Dori. Great restaurants all around.
