We loved our 2 night stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto. This hotel is located on a quiet Kyoto street in a traditional row house building that preserves the look and feel of a different era in Kyoto. The inside of the hotel is beautiful and the staff was very nice to deal with. The beds were super comfortable.

This was our favorite hotel we stayed in! The staff was so kind and helpful, the rooms were decently sized and comfortable, and the onsen was beautiful. They are tattoo-friendly which was great for my partner and I to be able to enjoy the onsen culture. It was in a very convenient but quiet location, with plenty of shops nearby and great food options, and the hotel was so budget friendly for the experience you received. Absolutely stay here if you're in the area!

Another beautiful Mitsui Garden stay and property. Love the ambiance of Mitsui Garden properties, their onsens, and breakfast options. Service is always top notch.
