This is a great stay in a more quiet area of Kyoto and was about a 15-20 minute walk into the downtown core. Overall, this was clean, had friendly staff and lots of restaurant options nearby.

The hotel has beautiful decor and friendly staff. The hotel is very generous in providing a delicious breakfast and there are vouchers to redeem free gifts at the gift shop. This hotel had a pleasant staff that was very attentive to all needs. The one-sen is very nice. The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of varieties. All fresh ingredients with every option one could want in Japan. The room was comfortable. My only negative thought was that there wasn’t a proper window to see outside.
