Incredibly convenient with the hotel being a short 7 minute walk from kyoto station allowed me to shop and easily return to hotel and head out again. Bus stop to Kiyomizu was also close by. Staff were always super friendly and helpful, and they also speak good English. Would definitely consider staying here next time.

This hotel was an excellent value. The rooms were standard Japanese size, but sufficient for two people. The lobby had an excellent common area that included free tea, coffee, filtered water, and Sake tasting. The hotel had aroma therapy in the main lobby, so be advised if you are extremely sensitive to smells, even really good ones. The location was a short walk from Kyoto Station, and it worked well enough as a starting point for anywhere we needed to go. If you are going to TeamLabs Biovortex then this IS the place to stay. Overall, we had a great experience.

The hotel was very clean, offered complimentary toothbrushes, razors, tea. Staff were very kind. Great location close to Kyoto station and next to a 7/11. The only thing to keep in mind is that for the double rooms, the mattress seems to be 2 smaller ones pushed together so you can feel a hard ridge in between. Overall a great stay!

Location a little bit far away from Kyoto station, but too close for taxi drivers. No any cafe nearby to the hotel. It is not convenient because the hotel does not have a restaurant or cafe and breakfast is not provided.

This was by far the smallest room on our trip. However, the view was nice and I loved the pajamas (wish I could have bought them). I was also a bit frustrated about paying the onsen fee regardless of whether or not you use it, but tbh it wasn't really wasn't that much money.
