In agreement with most past comments. Accessible (very close to the karasuma oike subway station) and within walking distance to most places, clean, nice jet stream shower, helpful staff. Amenities were great. Lots of items available. The cherry on top is the 24 hour lounge with complimentary bread and pastries that actually taste good.

I had a really quick experience when I checked in and checked out it’s pretty smooth staying in the hotel. It’s very cosy and the staff is pretty nice. I really like the coffee and the self-serve café bar is amazing.

We LOVE this hotel! It is conveniently located and has incredible amenities like free coffee, tea, juice, bread and croissants 24 hours a day! There is a record player with a great vinyl record library and a wide assortment of games to play while you relax in the comfy chairs and sofas. We highly recommend it!

Perfect stay for Kyoto. Immediately nice vibe in the lobby and the staff were helpful and friendly. There’s a subway right around the corner. Room comfortable and quiet, and the shower is the best we’ve had on this trip. Yes the rooms are small but that is universal for anywhere in Japan. Loved this hotel, would stay again. Appreciated the free bakery and juice/coffee items too, and the customisable water bottle!

My 1 week stay was so wonderful here! From the front desk, to the rooms and the 24/7 complimentary breads, coffee and juices. Everything was great. Rooms are modern and somewhat spacious compared to other hotels. Room service left clean towels everyday. It’s conveniently located to restaurants, convenience stores and train station. I would definitely stay here again.

We didn’t go there to shop so I can’t speak to the shopping experience. There were 7-Eleven‘s nearby and some other stores however, we stayed in Kyoto overnight to experience the nightlife and go to the temples in the morning. The hotel was perfect. The people were very kind. I like the snacks and welcoming atmosphere.

Hotel is in a very quiet part of town but only about a 10-15 min walk to all the action. I enjoyed the tranquility after a long day out. Train line is around the corner. There is a 7-11, Lawson and Familymart each within a 2-5 min walk. Showers are amazing! Only thing is I wish maybe there was more than one washer and dryer.
