Small room but cozy. However, we can hear the traffic light sound every now and then. Hotel is in a great location for shopping, dining, mrt line, bus stop and convenience store. Will recommend the is hotel to our friends

It was my first time staying at iBIS Style hotel and first time in 6 years to be back in Kyoto whilst so many inbound tourists are making the city unfriendly but the hotel was more than decent in such great location with good value for money

It's a clean and serviceable hotel. The staff was kind and accommodating. There is almost zero English versions of the information about the area attend the hotel, but as we have been to Kyoto before, it an issue.

On the main road in Kyoto, but back enough from the street that sleeping it was plenty quiet. Room was small but functional, bathroom could have been cleaner. Location is killer though and there wasn't anything overly bad. Solid stay if you want a simple place to crash after long days walking around

Not too far from the castle or party spots. The doors had a do not disturb button so you can sleep in if you want. Washing machines were very fairly priced however be careful not to leave your laundry in there too long as there is a sign warning they will take your clothes to the front desk if let unattended too long after finishing. Bed was too hard for my liking but didnt leave me with back pain. Overall a good stay

Good location, clean

This was a clean hotel and had the nice security feature that your room card automatically pressed the button for your floor so that nobody could get onto a different floor. They provided toothbrushes that were made from wood to reduce the plastic in the world. The staff was very accommodating.

Place was good location, however our room was street side and it was very loud at night from the passing traffic. Other than that it was good, it’s an ibis so you know what your getting.

Very nice location, walkable from Shijo metro with luggage. The first floor interior is beautiful - there are stone gardens, plants, etc. Rooms are small but has everything. I've stayed there for a week and then extended my stay for another day. Cleaness in general is fine, but could be better (dust on some panels that are never cleaned etc). Bathroom cleaned properly. Also depends on the day and cleaning team I think, as some days were better than others.
