We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is a perfect location for visiting most of the sites in Kyoto. The one suggestion would be to have some variety in the breakfast menu. We stayed for 6 days so it got kinda tiresome to have the same food.

It was a pleasant stay; the hotel is very well located with easy access to the train. A safe area with plenty of restaurants nearby! The hotel is nice and very clean; the room was a bit small, but I think that's typical for Japan!

Overall a very nice stay. Staff were helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Only minor niggle was the plug in the sink, which was quite difficult to close. Location was good, being right next to Exit 6 of Marutamachi station and within walking distance of several attractions such as Kyoto Gyoen, the Manga Museum, and Nijō Castle.

The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout the stay. Note that there is no on-site parking available on the property, so you will need to use one of the nearby Japanese coin parking lots. Luckily, several coin lots are just a short walk away, making it fairly straightforward if you are driving. Overall, a solid and pleasant stay!

I very much appreciated the Nespresso machine in the lobby and the laundry machines. The location was right at the subway station, you can’t get more convenient than that! But also the neighborhood was walkable with restaurants, convenience stores and a supermarket close by. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
