The hotel was in a great location within walking distance to many top tourist attractions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very neat with some lovely little touches such as matcha set and teas. Added bonus of an opening window for fresh air. We would stay here again.

The check in process was easy and smooth at the Hotel Resol Kyoto Kawaramachi Sanjo. The staff were extremely professional. The moment you walk into the discreet front entrance, you feel you had entered another realm with ambient lighting, gentle music and soft room fragrance that so calming and relaxing. It turned out to be a fantastic base for exploring the city. The location is perfect. Easy access to multiple subway stations and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, shops, and bars. The room size is average for Japan standards but for those that prefer and used to larger rooms, just be aware. The ambient moody lighting was beautiful but there were times where we struggled and needed some bright lights. Overall, it was very nice and value for money. I loved the pyjamas that was offered during your stay. It was so soft and comfortable. I wanted to purchase a paie but forgot when I left.
