Such an amazing hotel, our favourite place we stayed by a mile. It's a lovely small boutique hotel but the rooms were very spacious. The bed was so comfortable, great amenities and the shower was amazing. This was our favourite place we stayed during our entire trip

We wanted to book somewhere comfortable at the start of our trip knowing we’d be tired after 24 hours of travel and this was perfect. Location wise, we could walk to most of the places we wanted to see, the team were so friendly, accommodating and helpful and the room itself was stunning and so comfortable with tons of storage. Best Stay Ever

Our stay was amazing! Gion Misen Furumonzen was a great introduction to Kyoto. The location is a hidden gem while conveniently located across the street from a Lawson convenience store. The little bar was a sweet addition to the experience. This was by far the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in (in the world). The staff were considerate and helpful. We loved it so much, we booked an extra night. 10/10 recommend this hotel.

The perfect location! A short walk to some amazing restaurants and attractions, whilst still being in a very quiet street. Staff were great, hotel was cozy and quiet, more traditional bedding lower to the floor so just be mindful if you have back issues. No issues for us, super comfy stay and for 4 nights it was ideal for us.

Small but awesome inn within walking distance of main Gion shopping street. Super nice staff and friendly bartender. Room and incredible wet room shower/ bath room and separate ultra high end toilet that was worth the stay by itself. Nice and quiet.

Fantastic location in Gion About a 8 minute walk to the closest station. Fantastic shower. Very helpful staff and helped arranged delivery of our baggage to the next location we travelled. Gave us recommendations for local restaurants.

Great hotel hidden in great location

While the surrounding area almost made my wife turn around (neighboring buildings looked rundown). While entering the hotel she was quickly calmed. The hotel and room itself was very clean and everything looked pristine and new. Best location with just a few meters to gion the beautiful gion street and a few minute walk to food and shopping.

Nice stay

This small hotel located on a quiet street in Gion. It is very convenient to walk to different tourist spots in central Kyoto and just a min walk to subway and regional train stations. The room is small but clean and neat. Bathroom is well equipped and nice for whole day of walking. Staff are helpful and friendly. I would love to stay here again.

Cosy and convenient hotel with friendly staff

It’s a cosy hotel to stay in Kyoto which is near to Yasaka Shrine, Nishiki Market, shopping areas and train stations. Staff are friendly and speak good English. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Kyoto.

Beautiful hotel

Our room was beautiful and very clean. I would definitely stay here again. They have a lounge downstairs so you can enjoy complimentary coffee in the morning. Very nice hotel, with a more traditional design.

Loved this place!
