The auto check in and out was very high tech and quite easy. The location is excellent as it's a short walk to buse stops train station. We had a double twin room, which is quite small but the beds are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is super small, but again very clean. We were out most of the day and used the space to rest so did not really mind much of the tiny space. For a boutique hotel, it's simple and serves its purpose for travellers. The staff is also exceptionally courteous.

We stayed in 3 hotels during our japan trip and this was the worst. We booked for 4 people and were provided only with 2 pillows 2 towels, the blanket is supposed yo cover two people on a double bed but it was too small. The staff was never present at the front desk, they charged us some random tax upon arrival even if we paid taxes during our booking (the other others did no such thing) the hotel was very small tight rooms, we couldnt wait to get out of there.

The toilet smelt horrible for some reason. it was a wet dewy, sweat smell that could not be removed. the room was dusty as well. Linens were ok. Room space was sufficient to put 4 single beds. I would be better off choosing other hotels and skipping this. Mainly due to cleanliness. My travel mate found an unopened box of chips at the bed/wall corner. So we are pretty miffed by the cleanliness standards here.
