Even though there is renovation going on at this hotel, there's no inconvenience to guests or any noise heard within our room. The hotel is also very clean and the location is very conveniently located right beside the bus stops and the Kyoto station.

The first room I was booked in had a terribly funky odor. Thankfully the staff was understanding, investigated, and provided me with a new room. The breakfast buffet is nice with a lot of options. And the public bath is also nice, but can get a little over crowded with the limited size and amount of guests, even on a weekday at midnight. The ventilation/air was very dirty, it looks like the filters don't get cleaned often and are very dusty.

It’s a basic hotel with a nearby metro station, which makes it very convenient for visiting Japan. The breakfast is very good, with local food. Nice clean hotel that’s very close to the Kyoto station. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good overall I’d stay here again, no issues or concerns.
