Great location

Great location with Maruyama Par just across the road and walking distance to most places. The hotel provided a free breakfast that was a pleasant surprise. There was a problem with my booking and the lady on reception took a lot of effort to sort it out for me.

The staff were friendly and helpful of any questions/requests that I had. The property is a short walk from subway and very close to the Yasaka Shrine/Gion and Pontocho areas. Large and pretty room made stay very comfortable. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the bed and the room in comparison with other hotels we stayed at! Staff were kind and helpful. Location was incredible and walking to all sorts of attractions was very easy. Would stay again!

Rooms were not super clean, found hairs on the bed and the shower that were not mine (blonde vs I’m brunette). Only a duvet and fitted sheet were on my bed no sheet. No slippers were provided so you can take your shoes on and off Japanese style. However, the room was very spacious for Japan. The main front desk lady was not Japanese and therefore spoke English with an unfamiliar accent making communication hard, I don’t believe she fully informed me of every amenity. I only know from other reviews that they had breakfast offered. She was very friendly though. The location is a must- right across beautiful Yasaka shrine and located next to an amazing Wagyu skewer vendor. Also located near Gino’s old canal. Very convenient location and would stay again for that reason.

Es un hotel pequeño pero bien ubicado para turistas, el hotel ofrece desayuno bufet por la mañana en 1000 yenes por persona. Ofrecen el servicio diario de limpieza sin cargo extra sin embargo la chica güera de la recepción aunque se le da la indicación y se le deja la llave, ella no atiende de buena manera las indicaciones de los huéspedes y finalmente de los 4 días que estuve en el hotel solo me hicieron la limpieza dos día que casualmente coincidió cuando se le dejó a esta persona la llave y la indicación. Ojalá el hotel pueda hacer algo porque por una persona la imagen del hotel recae.

スタッフは日本語が話せる外国人ですがとても親切です。 Instagramフォローでワンドリンクサービスとのことでビールをもらいました。 夏場なので冷却シートのサービスもありました。 部屋は清潔で、ドライヤー、スリッパ、浴衣、歯ブラシ、トイレットペーパー予備も完備され、ちょうどいい温度に冷やしてくれてました。知恩院前でこの値段はお得だと思います。

Everything was ok, except for the blonde lady in the front desk, despite I indicated to do the cleaning of the whole room, she did not care. I left the key as instructions indicated, she understood what I wanted it and for some reason, she did not care, in two days I did not got the cleaning, I stayed for 4 nights. During the other two day I did got the cleaning because was other person at the front desk. It really disappointed that for one person, I was disappointed and frustrated with my stay
