Nice clean room. Very friendly staff. On site coin-op laundry for a reasonable price (¥400 to wash and ¥100/30 mins drying). Only a block from the covered street shopping area, 2 blocks from 7-11, and 3 from Nijo Castle.

There's multiple hotels with the same name in the area, so make sure you get the right one. The staff let us leave our bags when we arrived early and were helpful and friendly throughout our stay. This location was right next to a shotengai (covered shopping street), which had many necessities such as a grocery, pharmacy, restaurants and, most importantly a delicious bakery. The location had a welcoming, local vibe and was conveniently near transit.

Good place for a base for a short stay. Close to public transport and restaurants and convenience stores. Room is on the small size but we expected that. There are extra supplies of toiletries, tea and coffee which you help yourself to at reception which is handy. We used the laundry facilities which were also handy and the lady on reception who changed some notes for coins for us to be able to use it was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately they don't provide a service to forward luggage to another hotel, but we managed to find the Yamato store about a 10 minute walk away who organised it for us.

Good hotel for a staying close to touristic areas. Easy to reach by bus. The breakfast is at 500mt in an affiliated cafe but was ok. Room and bathroom were clean.

Convient place

Convient but there is another smart place inn there is closer to station. This one is placed in the middle of two stations - both 8-10 min walk. Quite area to stay even though it is close to centrum. Room has a fairly size - could maybe ude a deep cleen because there was kinda dusty. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything was fine overall, except for one concerning incident: a staff member opened our door to let another guest in without verifying their room assignment. Although they later apologized, this is a serious breach of security. Fortunately, we were in the room at the time, and as a couple, the situation was manageable. However, had one of us been alone, out of the room, or in the shower, it would have been entirely unacceptable. The hotel should ensure guest safety and privacy.
