Location was perfect. There are 2 Double Trees in Kyoto. The one near the train station is convenient but far from the sites. This Double Tree is a 10-min cab ride from train station but walkable to the sites of old Kyoto.

Really good stay. Our family (two adults+two teenagers) stayed in two rooms for 7 nights. Superb staff from reception to we left. The location is great - 150m to a subway and within walking distance to a lot of great sights.
