This hotel is pretty new and very clean. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful. The rooms were spacious for Japanese standards. It is also within 20-30 minutes walking from everywhere you’d want to go in Kyoto. I’d recommend this hotel to others.

Property to in a great location, easy to walk 20 min to almost everywhere. And located right by subway. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room is very good, ask for an extra luggage rack if 2 large suitcases. Onsen if excellent late afternoon after walking and gym is great. Look forward to staying again.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The hotel and our room were very clean and in excellent condition. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept well every night. There was some street noise but no problem with earplugs. (I am a very light sleeper) The staff were all very friendly, professional and helpful. The location was also excellent- close to the river and train station and walkable to the Gion district. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The entire team was absolutely fantastic! The tatami room was perfect—serene and exquisitely designed, and I especially loved that the shower and bathtub are separate within the same bathroom. The hotel’s facilities are quite new, and it’s conveniently located near Kyoto Station. I even discovered some lovely casual eateries along the canal nearby… I’ll definitely be coming back next time.
