Good Hotel Close-ish to the Station

This is a nice hotel, with well appointed rooms in the business hotel style. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from Kyoto Station, in a quiet location.

Cosy, clean and near train terminal.

Its a small business hotel rather than a family vacation hotel. Room space is small and rent is very high in peak season. No views around this hotel.

This was definitely a convenient hotel to Kyoto station, and the staff was accommodating. The room itself was a little underwhelming in that the beds weren't the most comfortable (didn't use 100% cotton sheets (partially synthetic, which doesn't breathe as well), mattress was too firm), and the bathroom had some maintenance issues. Nothing major, but would probably look elsewhere next time. For context, I travel to Kyoto 2-3 times a year for work and stay for 1-2 weeks at a time.
