We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel is walking distance from the train station which is convenient. You are able to rent a bike for free! So much fun. Great amenities. Staff are so kind, nice and very helpful. They also speak English. There is Lawson next to the hotel so you can easily walk over there to buy snacks and drinks. We enjoyed it and highly recommend it!

This was a great hotel with excellent and attentive personnel. They helped us finding a place for lunch when we arrived and the breakfast provided was delicious. The hotel facilities were great. I would stay again if I go back to Kyoto.

Superior Family Hotel

Our stay at this newer hotel with a large modern room, was perfect for a family of four. The in-house breakfast far exceeded our expectations (and ended up being one of the top dining experiences we had while in Japan). Beautiful public bath on-site was a lovely addition to the property. Property was centrally located, modern and clean, and the service was top-notch.

The Hotel was just a 12 minute walk from the main station so that was a big plus point. The accommodation was really clean and the staff were really kind in all ways. I really liked the neighborhood since it was very quite and calm. You can have really nice strolls around there. Transportation was also really convenient since there were some bus stops and train stations nearby. When I go to Kyoto again I will definitely come here again. Oh and the view was really nice from my room (804)

A quick 10-15 minute power walk from kyoto station. Although it’s a little distance away from golden pavilion or the shrines it’s only a Uber/ taxi ride away which I decided to do for transportation in Kyoto. The room was surprisingly big and the breakfast is very delicious. The baths at the basement is relaxing after a long day out. Our second time in Kyoto and our first time staying here. I really recommend this place. If I use the vending machine. Use the one at the bottom floor where the baths are it’s like 30 yen cheaper than at the lobby

Far far away from eateries and plcs of interest.. quite a walk from station.. and remote.. Staff does not try to understand the customer.. hotel send email to check in .. but in the end got to rewrite everything again at the front desk.. told him already E check in but insisted us to write again .. double work.. The staff that attended to us is like a robot repeat the same answer over and over, we got to struggle to understand his english.. he could had pointed the answer to us that was on the slip of paper. Machine payment is either card or cash, cant do partial.. Definately not a premium hotel haha

Comfortable, but nothing special.

This place has a great location, fairly close to train station, malls, shopping, and dining. Immediately upon approaching the front desk to check in (a little early at 1330), we were told very abruptly that check in was at 1500 and early check in was not an option. We were allowed to leave our bags though so we went to get something to eat and kill time. When we finall checked in, we tried to call another room which our friends were staying in and noticed there was no phone in the room. When inquiring about this, we were told straight up that they removed the phones so they wouldn't have to answer calls from quests and thus, decreased the front-end staff to decrease costs. The stay was comfortable and the room was spacious, but it was nothing special. I have tattoos so was unable to use the onsen as I couldn't cover them all. We did not eat breakfast because it seemed over-priced for what it was and was able to find better options close bye.

家族4人で宿泊させて頂きました。部屋の広さは程よいとですが、アメニティ類はお部屋にセットの方が嬉しいかな。大浴場にもタオル類が別に置いてあるとこれも助かると（コスト面を思うと余計に掛かるからかな）余りにも質素感が強く感じた。内線電話が見当たらず使用はしなかったがフロントへの連絡には困るかな！清掃に関しては常設ベットの下は手が入って無いみたいで残念。フロントスタッフの対応は物凄くソフトで感じが良く親切でした。リーズナブルに過ごすなら次回リピはあるかもだけどハイグレードを望むなら迷いますね。それでも2日間お世話になり有難う御座いました。

Clean Hotel with spacious Rooms. The Bads are pretty Hard, but with a good size. The Hotel is located a 10 Minuten Walk from Kyoto Station and 10 Minutes to Walk from the next JR Line to Computer to the Golden shrine. Therme Are Buses around within two minutes Walk. Overall good Price/quality Ratio, if you Are willing to Walk a bit (JR pass user).
