Had an amazing 5 night stay at Asai. Went during the Golden week but everything went smoothly. Staff were very helpful. Also saw a Saturday Geiko performance which was such a pleasant surprise. The hotel is a walking distance to pretty much everything. Definitely recommend.

We loved staying here! The room was very clean and was a good size. Staff came and made the bed and replaced towels every day. There was also free bottle water each day. The location was super close to a lot of great places to see and eat in Kyoto. There seemed to be a lot of activities going on at the hotel and the restaurant also looked very good, although we didn’t eat there. Staff was helpful and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel is new and has everything you need to be comfortable and have a good night's sleep. The staff is attentive and very helpful. The hotel restaurant is convenient on days when you don't want to go out to eat. The breakfast doesn't have much variety, but it's enough to start the day with renewed energy.
