The property is very convenient to access Kyoto Station and bus stations. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful to provide directional support for city tours. But the room is very very (I specifically used two "very") small, not suitable for more than one person.

The staff was not very accommodating for our check in. Bathroom layout is terrible. Can hardly fit to use the restroom with the door closed. It is a great location but next time I’ll choose somewhere else.

Having stayed at several Japanese business hotel before, I’m aware of the typical small toilet. But this single room’s toilet is even much smaller! When standing in the bath, my shoulder will be touching the shower curtain. When sitting on the toilet bowl, my feet touches the door. The wifi was also very slow. The pillow has a little bit of musty smell. I’m now worried about my next check-in on 25 Nov…

This APA location is awesome .. just less than 5-8 mins walking (depending how fast you walk) to Kyoto Station, Kyoto Tower and shopping nearby, and taking any buses to Nishiki Market n more. Love it .. Room is great!!

Tiny, but convenient.

The room is tiny, as described. The office chair was very uncomfortable. So, it you plan to work, this is not your place! Paper cups for hot drinks is a thumbs down. Otherwise, quiet, clean, and super convenient to night life, restaurants, and Kyoto station.
