In comparison to the APA hotel we stayed at in Tokyo, this one was a bit less clean/well maintained, but is fine. The location here is awesome, given its proximity to Kyoto station and how easy that made travel, as well as the things to do around the hotel. Overall a good hotel.

Very clean and well maintained hotel . It does have a restaurant which I’d recommend book in advance as they have amazing menu. Staff were very helpful especially the two gentlemen who spoke fluent English and helped with my touristy queries and also with transporting my baggage to the next hotel, etc. The hotel is also very close to the station. Ideal for solo travellers. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again
