We loved the quiet location. The building was 100 years old and very nicely preserved. The spa was perfect and the staff members were all very helpful and kind. The food was 5 star!

Great service. Included complimentary car service to the local Izakaya restaurant. We used the Onsen twice. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great for a day or two stop over to relax.

Goodness us…. PLEASE treat yourself and stay at least one night in this beautiful traditional hotel with its own onsen! We had a superbly decorated very very very large traditional room (tatamis), a view of the little port and the sea of Japan with sunset…. And we discovered once there that one could book their private onsen! Oh and yes, it’s ‘only’ a 100 years old family hotel…. Don’t forget to check their ‘souvenirs table’ of locally or Japan made goodies to take home. The friendliness and discretion of the front desk people is exemplary. This was part of the highlight of our holidays in Japan. Thank you so much for offering such a beautiful hotel to us visiting tourists. We wish you only the best for years to come!

高齢の父母と私の３人で宿泊させて頂きました。父は膝が不自由で、母も腰の手術後でおぼつかない感じなのですが、スタッフの方が直ぐに座り良い椅子を用意して下さり、どの方もとても感じが良かったです。夕食のどのお料理も器が綺麗でお魚が鮮度抜群‼️穴子が苦手な私でしたが、穴子の一夜干しが、絶品でした。朝ご飯も大満足でした。コシヒカリが美味しくて朝からお茶碗三杯おかわりしました笑 ホッコリさせて頂き、癒しの旅で感謝です。 昭和レトロな温泉♨️もオススメです。ありがとうございました。

スタッフの対応も良く、色々ご配慮頂いたので本当に助かりました。たまたま団体客と重なって食事やお風呂の時に騒がしかったのと、(部屋は離れていましたので配慮は頂いたと予測されます）掃除は行き届いていましたが、建物が古いのは否めないです。ご飯は美味しかったです。特にコシヒカリがとても美味でした。

丹後ウルトラマラソンで二泊させていただきました。男性の宿泊客が多かったのか、女子風呂は2日ともほぼ貸切で、ゆっくりくつろげました。朝風呂も露天風呂貸切で最高！ スタッフの方も丁寧な対応で好感が持てました。食事は最終日の朝ごはんだけいただきましたが、品数も多く大変美味しかったです。周辺の飲食店は沢山はなさそうでしたが、近くにレストランはありました。また丹後に行くときには利用したいと思います。
