October 2026 update: this is a nice property that's just staring to show its age. The hotel was nicely renovated maybe 5-10 years ago and they did a good job with all the finishings, nice tile, etc. However its right at that time when its scuffed up and worn out enough to need a refresher. Likely OK for maybe another year or so.

Wonderful staff! Our granddaughter was disappointed that the pool was dirty and had a lawn chair at the bottom of it. Otherwise it was great. The location is good with adequate parking.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
The room was mostly clean, though housekeeping missed a shirt in the closet and an old water bottle in the fridge (the fridge area itself needed a deep clean). The beds, linens, and bathroom were otherwise spotless. The front desk staff was very welcoming, despite clearly being exhausted from working a double shift due to understaffing. The main downside is the noise—the walls are thin, our neighbors were loud until 1 a.m., and you can hear I-35 traffic. We skipped breakfast to sleep in. Parking was incredibly easy, and the location is excellent—conveniently within walking distance to shops and dining, and a quick drive to TXST.

Everything was very clean: the hotel grounds, the room, the bathroom, down to the bed. The beds were very soft and comfortable, and the size of the rooms quite spacious. The bathroom's vent fan was not working, a minor inconvenience. The breakfast was basic but acceptable. The coffee machine that freshly grinds the coffee was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Quiet location sets behind Target store and walking distance to IHOP, Panda and McDonalds. Within blocks from the local HEB store if you need overnight snacks etc. Great place to have in Kyle, Tx, as I won't stay anywhere else when in town. The friendly staff greets you and the friendliest ladies that make your breakfast.
