Staff was always available and they all work so well together to make sure you have what you need. Very friendly group. Great location for exploring SE corner of Isle of Skye. Maybe the easiest parking in Scotland. Breakfast was fresh and excellent. After dinner one evening where we were dining in the bar, a desert cart went into the private dining room reserved for tour groups that had a bunch of creme brulee's on it. As it was not on the menu, the waiter went into the private dining room, asked that group of all were having creme brulee, found there was one left over and gave it to me. Small gesture really, but much appreciated and shows they know how to take care of their guests.

The room was very small, it was hard to get around the bed with a suitcase. The price was quite high for the type of room. We had to pay extra for breakfast and they charged an extra fee for the second person. The staff were friendly and helpful, however our room was above the kitchen so we could not open the window and the room smelled of heavily spiced food. We paid $592 for 2 nights, definitely not worth the price.

The hotel has recently been refurbished,. Our room was lovely—tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Although it was on the ground floor and overlooked the campsite across the road rather than having a scenic view, that didn’t detract from our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with the scrambled eggs being a particular highlight. The staff were attentive, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. We only stayed for one night, but it was just what we needed. There was also plenty of parking, which was very convenient. We would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.
