Was great, loosing it now

Has been my favourite motorcycle/motor hotel in this area (with great roads) for many years. But now with 2 price increases in "no time" one small beer and a Jager costs 269,-. And the single rooms are not up to par... and no towels coming out of the shower did not help either. They have the possibility for Omelette at breakfast...but the chef is never there. Have given this ut, going to Seljord Hotel instead.

Nice hotel, need some small fixes.

Nice hotel. Good feel. Very good buffet. Negatives: received the keys 30 min after check in. It smelled chlorine from the cleaning. The air ventilation in the room was not good. And the pool was very cold.

Environment is beautiful. Location is disappointing. Very noisy. Breakfast moderate. Location/room outdated. Bike rental: there is no service, the bicycles do not contain bottle cages.

We did the check-in at the hotel, we were really disappointed about the bedroom and was very broke and the warm excrement smell was unbearable… We’ve book it with the Spa, swimming pool and sauna, the receptionist told us that it was open and gave us towels but everything was switch off. I asked his manager but he said that he switch it on just during the weekend. The place is very depressing, we felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave at 16:30 and don’t sleep there. It’s not honest to sell a service at this price and don’t provide it.

Et nydelig sted, god mat, hyggelige ansatte. Ett av de best tilgjengelige historiske vi har vært på med rullestol. Et lite skår i gleden at det ble rot med bestilling av Afternoon tea. Lærdom: kontroller ALLE bekreftelser. Også ugreit å bli tilbakekalt angående betaling - som var sjekket og betalt kvelden før avreise. Men alle kan gjøre feil, og hele oppholdet forøvrig var så vellykket så vi gir en varm anbefaling av Straand hotell. Det var fine turområder, klatrestativ, tråkkebåter, trivelig strandkafé mmm.
