After climbing 3 flights of of steep exterior stairs with no lighting, we arrived to a unit that had zero cleaning after the previous occupants. We found dirty bed linens piled on floor, a used tissue next to bed, chips and other food and debris on floor throughout the unit, air vents blackened with dirt, dirty towels in the washer, a dirty tub, food crumbs all over the dining table, a dirty refrigerator, a dirty oven, smelly dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and the icing on the cake, spoiled food and a human hair ball in the kitchen sink, topped with a bug crawling out of the sink. Multiple messages were left with the onsite contact who was no where to be found. When the issue was elevated to the management company, even after sending photos of the issues experienced, the management company required an additional hours wait at the location just in case the unreachable site contact could magically clean everything. This wait was required before they would offer any resolution. After the waiting period expired, they agreed the photos clearly represented the complaints and with no response from the onsite contact, they attempted to find another unit. None were found so they began processing a refund, leaving us without a unit. Well after midnight we were left driving around aimlessly trying to find a hotel room.
