Room and hotel was clean Staff was friendly and helpful. You neef to order breakfast the day before, keep in mind that it is just a sandwich in a box. We did not have our breakfast at the hotel, so, i don't know if it is good or not. We did not drive so we didn't need parking however. It is right bext door not sure of the cost.

The best place to stay to go to the historical Bikan - wonderful place to visit. Take into account to store your bags you need to rent a locker (Ā„500-Ā„1000). Breakfast is literally a sandwich in a box, coffee is Ā„200.

I found the staff friendly and professional. Currently they are working on the maintenance of the building exterior. As such, it was covered by a maintenance net. I did not try their breakfast since it ends at 9AM that is away too early but other than that, it is a good business hotel for a solo traveler who just needs some place to stay.

Unfortunately you could hear the loud noise from the crossing nearby until fairly late at night. We could also hear someoneā€™s TV in the night. Check in was very quick and easy, polite staff and a generally very clean and pleasant premises. The room was pretty spacious and very clean too.

Excellent location near historic quarter. Tricky check in as only hotel on trip that didnā€™t look after luggage before check in, and had to pay for lockers (Ā£15 in our case). Also charged for ā€˜welcome drinkā€™ coffee. Otherwise pleasant, clean room and hotel, so an extra star if they sorted the luggage storage situation.

Nice place, good location, helpful staff, very weird breakfast (de-facto the thing called "breakfast" was a pack of some dishes collected and placed in a paper bag. It was small, and I doubt if eatable at all - tested some of them and the test bite was actually the only bite I did)

Great location since it was walkable from kurashiki train station and just a block away from the Bikan district. Property was fine for a short stay just to sleep and shower, but lacked vibe. I hope they are not on the verge of closing. It seems they did a lot to cut down cost to run the place, and with minimal attendant - it was fine but a bit of a sad place. Maybe they can save more money by not offering the breakfast sandwich also. Suspect the breakfast may not suit some peopleā€™s taste and will get wasted. How about removing the 200 yen self service coffee and perhaps get a tenant to run a small eatery? I hope they can revive the place as location has so much potential.

We didn't have any breakfast so I can't speak to that, but the rooms are nice. The ones on the north side are nice and big, particularly by Japanese standards. The staff is great as is the location.

While I found out that they stopped providing afternoon tea that is still posted on their website, the location is excellent, only 3 minutes away from the charming Bikam district, where you can enjoy the Japanese traditional houses and river side where any generation can find something to enjoy.

Biggest bedroom in japan for this tripā€¦ especially for japan. Thereā€™s no front desk and check in is thru online registration. . I was abit early for my check in but they did let me check in a little earlier. Located right outside the Bikan Historical area, hotel is convenient and comfortable
