“Amazing staff working here and very helpful. The only language spoken here is Mandarin so be prepared to use your phone to translate. The ladies working behind the desk do an incredible job and made me feel so welcome.”

“The staff on reception were excellent and so helpful. Nothing was to much for them. With us not speaking Chinese fluently, they arranged any thing we asked with a smile and professionalism. Can’t praise them high enough. They made our stay so much better.”

“Only major warning and complaint I would have is the hotel front desk charged a "deposite" on check in I thought nothing of it because its an international card. Luckily I was meeting someone who lives in China and when they found out they immediately got a refund. It was explained to me that deposites are not something that is done.
Other than that all other areas of service were beyond excellent, the breakfast buffet was fantastic every morning, and the view of the lake from a room that...

“This hotel was a great find! It is very affordably priced with a good location in Kunming. It is within walking distance of a metro station. The main negative feature was the surprisingly dirty carpets in the hallways for the rooms. The lobby area and most common area were all pristine. But, when we got off the elevator to go our room, which was also clean, I was a bit shocked to see carpeting that hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, with dirt stains all over the carpet. Another negative...

“The hotel is right across the Green Lake. Traffic in Kunming was the worst I have ever seen in China, especially around the city center so be mindful how much time you need to go around places. Breakfast buffet was ok for the hotels in Kunming. When I arrived, the hotel told me the room type I booked ran out, so you better call them beforehand to make sure the room type you booked is available.”

“This hotel is near the North Railway station and not near Dongfeng square. Also if you are ordering a Didi the name of the Hotel is Time Walk S. The wifi at the hotel is effectively unusable. If useable wifi not an issue for you then i would give it a 4 star (minus 1 on location).”
